Edinburgh Comedy Festival

The comedy acts taking part in The Fringe Festival gained their own entity in 2008 when the Edinburgh Comedy Festival was born. The first festival saw 90% of the comedy acts from The Fringe included, from 2009 this figure should rise to include all comedy acts previously performing under The Fringe banner.

The Edinburgh Comedy Festival 2009 ran from 5th – 31st August.
